Parents are encouraged to visit the school with their child. Tours may be scheduled by calling 617-332-1611 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Completed applications must be submitted with a $50 non-refundable application fee. Applications sent by fax will not be accepted. Applications are processed on a space-available basis. Since we cannot always guarantee placement according to one’s first choice, it is strongly recommended that parents indicate at least two choices on the application form.
Within one week of notification that a new student has been accepted for enrollment, parents must return the Enrollment Contract along with the registration deposit. This will reserve a place for the student for the upcoming school year.
November 10 is the re-registration deadline for students already enrolled in the program and intending to return to The Teddy Bear Club the following school year. A new application form and a $50 non-refundable application fee must be received on or before that date to secure placement in the early enrollment process. While we do grant first priority to returning students and siblings, we cannot always guarantee placement according to one’s first choice. It is strongly recommended that parents indicate at least two choices on the application form.
Enrollment notification letters are sent to families of returning students by the end of November. Mid-December is the deadline for the school to receive a completed Enrollment Contract along with a non-refundable registration deposit in order to ensure placement for the upcoming school year.
Space is extremely limited. The Teddy Bear Club cannot always guarantee the number of days, nor the specific session that parents may request as their first choice. We will do our best to provide first choices to all of our returning students, but often we must make schedule adjustments based on the volume of requests received and the maximum available space. The date of the receipt of the application, along with birth date and gender will be taken into consideration, if relevant, to properly balance the classes.
We understand that private schools have varying acceptance dates and we are aware that this may present a dilemma for some parents. However, we cannot extend our enrollment deadline or make any other exception as we have limited space available in the program.
If spaces are no longer available, parents may elect to place their children’s name on the school waiting list by returning a completed wait-list request form provided by The Teddy Bear Club. Returning children and their siblings are given first priority on the wait-list. Thereafter, decisions are made based on, but not limited to, the date of receipt of the child’s original application, and the program and/or session requirements. Consideration will also be given, if relevant, to birth date and gender in order to properly balance the classes.
A $50 non-refundable application fee must accompany each application. Applications received without the application fee will not be processed.
