Floating / Assistant Preschool Teacher (Part-Time – Lincoln, MA)

The Teddy Bear Club is a prestigious bilingual French-English private preschool located on a beautiful 2-acre campus in Lincoln, MA, near Walden Pond and Drumlin Farm. We are currently seeking a part-time Floating / Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our enthusiastic and dynamic teaching team.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Weekdays, 8:15am–1:15pm
• Classroom: Primarily Transitional K class, but helping with Toddlers through K
• Location: Lincoln, MA

TBC’s program is bilingual, with activities conducted in both French and English. French fluency is a plus, but candidates with basic French are also strongly encouraged to apply.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting activities and lessons in a co-taught classroom
• Supporting the social-emotional development of young children
• Collaborating with colleagues and communicating with parents
• Helping prepare classroom materials and environments
• Working across all of our classrooms (toddlers through Transitional K) as substitute teacher and/or as an additional support
• Supervising children during lunch and after-lunch activities

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Have a genuine passion for working with young children
• Be enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented
• Thrive in a team-oriented setting
• Speak at least basic French
• (Ideally) Have prior experience working in a school or preschool
• (Ideally) Hold EEC Teacher Certification for toddlers and/or preschoolers

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary prorated from $50K–$55K+ full-time equivalent (25/40 hours per week)

Preschool Teacher, French-Speaking

Part-Time – Newton, MA

The Teddy Bear Club is a prestigious bilingual French-English private preschool located on a beautiful one-acre campus in West Newton, MA. We are seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher to join our enthusiastic and dynamic teaching team for the 2026–2027 academic year.

TBC’s program is bilingual, with activities conducted in both French and English. French fluency is a plus, but candidates with basic French skills are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-Time, Weekdays, 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
• Classroom: Preschool (Ages 2 years 9 months to 3 years 10 months)
• Location: West Newton, MA
• Duration: September 8, 2026 through June 5, 2027, with the possibility of continued employment thereafter
• Language: French fluency is a plus, but candidates with basic French skills are also strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities, lessons, and daily routines in a co-taught Preschool classroom
• Support the social-emotional development of young children
• Help create a warm, engaging, and well-organized classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with co-teachers and other members of the teaching team
• Communicate professionally and positively with parents
• Prepare classroom materials and help maintain classroom spaces

Ideal Candidates Will

• Be warm, enthusiastic, organized, and dependable
• Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented school environment
• Speak at least basic French
• Have prior experience working in a school, preschool, camp, or childcare setting
• Ideally hold, or be working toward, EEC Teacher Certification for toddlers and/or preschoolers

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary, prorated from a full-time equivalent range of $52,000–$60,000+, based on a 25-hour workweek (5/8 of full-time)
