We are glad you're here! Teddy Bear Club offers a joyful, nurturing first school experience where children feel empowered to try new experiences, learn new skills, and even speak a new language. Please see the timeline below for key dates in the application process. Since we cannot always guarantee placement according to one’s first choice, it is strongly recommended that parents indicate at least two schedule options on the application form.

To secure a space once admitted, parents must return their child’s enrollment contract along with the registration deposit on or before the deadline stated in their admissions letter, which is typically two weeks after the confirmation letter is sent out.

Key Dates to Consider

In order to give families time to schedule visits in the fall, all application received before the Round 1 deadline of December 15 are treated with equal priority for placement for the following school year.

December 15	Application deadline for Round 1 consideration.
January 20	Admission placement letters are emailed to Round 1 applicants.
January 30	Enrollment contracts are due for new students.

Program Options

Children applying for the Petit Jardin and the Moyen Jardin classes have the option of enrolling in the two, three, or five-day-per-week programs.

The Grand Jardin and the Jardin Maternel programs are only available as a five-day option.

Après-Midi Program

Teddy Bear Club offers an extended-day program. The “Après-Midi” program offers families the opportunity for their children to continue with us through lunch and into the afternoon on the days they come to school. This option is offered for any child aged two years nine months or older.

The Après-Midi program features a wide variety of stimulating games and activities, arts and crafts, movement, music and drama, free play, and playground/gross motor time.

If you would like to enroll your child, please indicate your Après-Midi program preference on the academic year application.

Après-Midi Program Details

Program Schedule and Hours

The Après-Midi program runs until 4:00 p.m. every day. Children may participate in the Après-Midi at TBC on days that they attend the morning program. Families may not sign up for afternoons on days that their child is not enrolled in school for the morning. However, if your child attends our five-morning program, you may elect to have him/her stay in the Après-Midi program for two, three, or five afternoons per week.
